You now know what this workshop can do to help, but it's important to know what it can't do as well.

I can't cure or fix your pain. I wish I could. The Rethink Pain Workshop is designed to help you understand the potential you have to improve, and give you the techniques and advice to start making positive changes in your life.

There are three types of experiences people have when they learn this education. The first experience that I have seen with many people, is this workshop is exactly what the person needed to make dramatic changes in their life. Through understanding and using the information, this workshop has the potential to help you heal and recover.

The second experience is the person who takes bits and pieces of the education, and starts creating some positive changes in their body. The person might still need to keep learning on their own, or get help from others to achieve their goal, whatever it may be.

The last experience is "failing with style." I adapted this quote from Buzz Lightyear's "falling with style." For some people, the education I provide doesn't help, and that's OK. It's called failing with style because at least you put yourself out there in a way that even if this information "fails" to help you heal, you will be more educated about your brain and pain for the future. This will plant a seed for further learning that may help.

Also, remember you must not rely on the information on this website as an alternative to medical advice from your doctor or other professional healthcare providers. You should never delay seeking medical advice, disregard medical advice or discontinue medical treatment because of information on this website. If you have any specific medical questions about your health, or think you need immediate medical attention, you should seek local assistance.
